I keep their water around 80f. My pair are steady breeders but first lay was after a water change with cooler water. Not sure it made any difference.

Male has shown no interest in the female he's been in the tank with. There is a divider in the tank but lately either no interest or even trying to snap at her through the divider. Was going to remove the divider soon but I believe that would be a mistake. So I'll give this a shot for next few months and if it doesn't work out I'll rehome the females and keep him as a wet pet. Made a few adjustments to the divider with some holes for the female in case she needed to escape the male and this is what's happening. They are taking a liking to each other a lot and have their little spot. IMG_20240510_234110483.jpg

She's definitely in breeding mode as she has gotten a lot whiter with more black showing.
