I started a new project today. i finally took the plunge and started a plywood tank.

I hard a very hard time deciding on size. i needed a tank with at least a 36inch width and 48inch length. height was not important. I initially wanted a 8x4x2 foot tank, but had to cut back considerably due to limited tank space. i also didnt want to go too big as this is my first one.

so i went with 60 inches long, 38 inches wide, and 25 inches tall. approx 237gals

The product i choose to seal the tank with is called Zavlar by liquid rubber, and can be seen here:

On with the build, pics are worth a thousand words, so i'll keep it short.

Thanks for sharing. Great pics can't wait to see the finish.

great start dude. im going with a 60x24x24 myself, i can't wait to get started but im still waiting for a few more things to come together. what glue did you use to bond them together?

looking forward to seeing how well that liquid rubber works.

Nice! Smaller ply builds go so much faster lol! Looks really good. Can't wait to see how your rubber sealant works. Seems like it will be really similar to the bluemax I'm thinking about using.
