sorry if this has been asked before, didn't want to look thru all the pages. how much did you pay for this awesome setup? Being a named brand, it probably cost an arm and leg huh?

It did cost an arm and a leg, thankfully, I could get a nicer setup since my parents payed the difference between this tank and the regular glass tank as an early birthday present.
The tank, stand, 75 gallon wet/dry sump, tops, and pump were around $3,000 (cant remember exactly)
The light I got used for $50 a couple years ago when I picked up my 120 but the previous owner payed $200 for it new. Its a 4' aqueon LED. Works like a dream
the 3 300 watt aqueon heaters were $20 each and since I have amazon prime, that totaled out at $60
fluval fx6 was $350
rena xp3 was $150 (bought a few years ago)

Not counting the light and xp3since I bought it so long ago, it ended up being under $3,250. I defenitely could've done it for much cheaper but if it means a nicer tank, less risk of the tank breaking, and a great tank for my rays, I dont mind saving for a while.
Pretty expensive for what I got but would've been a lot more expensive if i'm not one of the stores best costumers and I know everyone working there really well.

The fish werent too cheap but I got them all at different times

Male marble motoro - I bought him when he was 7" on december 30th for either $350 or $375 with my christmas money, he's now over 10" wide

Cichla pinima - I bought him when he was 4" on March 1st for $125, he's now almost 10" and thick

Female hybrid (p14 x bd/pearl x motoro x mantilla x leo x something else) - I bought her when she was 6" wide april 24th for $600. She was origionally listed for $1200 but the ray I origionally ordered died the morning she was going to be shipped out.

So including fish, the setup wasnt cheap, but I've been saving money for this tank for a while and already had around $1500 put away and once I sold the fish room, I had just enough
Killer marble Dan! Any plans for substrate in the 300?
Thanks! I'm looking around to see if there are any sands that i really like. Sand is such a pain to take out so i want to be 100% sure I love it before I buy.
Any suggestions? I've had pfs but i didnt love the look. It didnt look like regular pfs so I think the guy who sold it to me got it confused (I got it for free from a guy in my neighborhood).

I love the sandalwood and black granite mixture but i dont think I can drive up to NJ just for some sand, and I assume shipping would be outrageous
Thanks anyway
Congrats on the tank, it looks great.
