Your firemouths should be fine with the rest of your fish.
Personally I would not have picked them as they are central American. This matters to me, but there is no reason they should not do well in your tank.
I would have chosen another south American fish to accompany your geos.

My partner picked them up from the pet shop first cichlid they have had in for as long as iv been shopping/looking there /(2years. I think my geo's sd's and fm's think they are the same fish they all stay together. The top 2/3 just seem a waste of tank looks so empty all the time
