I know how it is doing water changes with babys in the tank. I'm feeling the pain as I think of it.

My local petsmart just got a lot of jags in, only $4 a piece, some good looking ones too, I dont have the space to house another one though.

Yes and no,depending on the size of the tank,they're territorial though,but it is doable of having a Jaguar with other fishes that are aggressive though.
I find they don't eat as messily as Oscars, but the reason is because mine pick up the food off the floor of the tank. Your best bet is to try and get a female, they are less aggressive from what I've seen.
Males can reach up to 18" but this is very rare, usually closer to 14" and females are smaller.
For a community tank I would recommend a bare minimum of 125 gallons!

Here are a few new photos taken this afternoon. It is impossible to get a good measurement when I have an old slow camera, but this will give good reference to his size. Jig Jig is just over 13.5 inches, Momma is over 10 inches.
