Up and at 'em 4 AM ...

This unit will be a stand alone with it's own submersible pump/pre-filter...
Each tray will lift out for service with the option of not having to shut down the whole system...

Pics to follow at dawns early light...:D;)

what media are you planning on using ????
John,
I'm just going to go with Jap mat and sintered glass media...
The true bacteria house media is way to rich for my budget...
From what I've researched, good results have been had with various medias other than Bacteria house...
You are the king of filtration, what do you suggest?

Spray bar and 3 tiers...
I'm going to use a submersible pump, plumbed to the bottom cross member...

The more I look at the top heaviness, I think I need to go back to home depot and increase the stand/lower plumbing size to 1"...:naughty:

I'll be bawk!...

How's this going to work? Looking at your picture it looks like you would have to take out the trays starting from the top in order to get any from the bottom out, or am I looking at it wrong?
