Here is some pic of them big male. He is in with 2 7-8" females and a couple of little tank mates.

I wasn't gonna get a Chanco....just a fish in general. BTW, the little midas male I got from you is a powerhouse Ken. He is a glass-banger at 4 inches.

Ken is picking up a large group of growouts this weekend or next. Lots of 4-9" fish.

Do Chancos grow slow or fast? I read somewhere that they grow slow.

I have a male from Mack (probably son of the male above), and he is somewhat slow growing. Compared to my Trimacs, I would say he is *way* slower -- he has not grown that much in length since I have had him.

Another board member who has a pair from TUIC has had different experience totally, his pair grew quite fast.

Probably depends on the source where the fish was collected? But from my experience, they are definitely not as crazy fast in their growth, as say Trimacs.
