If you seen my thread about scoring a used 180 setup. Set up a brackish tank. Here it is in all her glory
Went to my secret spot and got lucky. These papio (jacks) will grow to over 30lbs. The white one can grow to 100+. But I'll let most of them go before that:nilly: .

Looking good. What did you do with all the flourite?

The florite came in a seperate tub. I didn't think it would go well with the fish I was adding.
I'll be getting some black sand and plan on painting the back black also.

Just give me a call. You got my #.

Looks great!

Caught some trevally not so long back.

have you kept these fish before?

what is the salinity of your water?

what are you feeding?

do they ram the glass at all?

I have tried before, BUT I always have tried to acclimate them to fresh with not so good results. I have always let them go before any loses. The area I catch them in does not even register on an hydrometer.
Since I picked up this tank, they will remain in a brackish setting.
I have feed frozen shrimp in the past with good results.

as far as I know trevally never go into freshwater.

is this correct?

I have caught them in rivers where it has bascially been complete fresh.
