Anyone with any luck sealing a plywood and glass aquarium, feedback would be appreciated. I am located in Belle River, Ontario Canada - Not far from Detroit, Michigan --- Looking for specific products used to seal plywood for a marine aquarium
havent started painting it yet but here is what i did so far
first i used fiberglass resin in all the corners this will make the corners much stronger
then i will just paint he rest with the epoxy resin for waterproofing. ( just got my epoxy today)
i will probly still run a bead of sillicon on all the seams just in case. it def won't hurt
ewurm this one isn't mine its another members on here

mines not done yet but you get the idea from his 300 gal
it kicks butt and mine is being made the same way
It's pretty simple, the fibreglass in the corners is a must if it's of any size. You can get strips of fibreglass to put along all the seams too, that can help a lot.
The biggest thing is just to make sure you use a foodsafe resin for the top coats, or the fish are going to die horribly from exposure to chemicals leached from the resins.
