calling all FH buddies.

I want to ask you all what you have bred before, And i need some insight from experienced fellow breeders so to find out how to get the CERTAIN Qualities you want out of the next generation of your fish.

This is my current project. (First pics)

In hong kong, There's a long road packed out dedicated to all tropical fish (FHs, super-red chilli aros, arapaimas, golliath tigers - you name it) ....

So i looked hours on end to find the nearest perfect Female Flowerhorn I could get my mits on and BOY DID I Find a facking beauty! A week later I got lured by the incredible beauty of a certain breed...

...I jumped on the RED TEXAS bandwagon and bought a nice aggressive juvie. Here In HongKong - Red Texas' , Kamalaus, KamFas are IN..... SRS' (Red Monkies are well out) but whatever. diff' strokes for diff' folks as the saying goes.

To the point anyway. I'd like to try and breed my Super Red Texas............. with my platinum Kamalau (2nd pics) I know the tex is too small but he'll get bigger.

Can Any1 suggest what kind of LOOKS the fries would likely inherit....What do you think will happen? good idea? disaster.....?

So to y'all other breeders out there... if u bred something yourself SUCCESSFULLY and got good pics of the parents and then the babies then do post up onto this thread for all to see. give some eyecandy.

bring it on fanatics,

Peace :grinno:
