Have any of you younger folks drafted a will?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
When I had my first baby, I bought a program at the computer store and did it that way.. I hate flying and I was going away and leaving my daughter for the first time so I needed to make sure she ended up in the right hands if the plane crashed( Yeah I'm paranoid about flying) The will was not the best at the time but you are young and don't need to spend all that money for a law firm to do it.

I think the program was called will power? All you do is fill it out and then go get it notarized

my step dad is 38 and he just wrote up a will. he did it cause he has cancer and it was really hard to be with him when he was writing it. i'm eighteen and its intense

It's never a bad idea, no matter how young. If you have material possessions that you want to go to someone in particular - get a will. Death brings out the worst in people, esp when fighting over something like those SWEEEEEEEET rides you have. If I had to fight over stuff like that, look out everyone! Nice shop too!

Don't have one, but I should. My daughter's mother wants me dead, I'm sure of it.

isnt that ur ex-wife?

I had to write one when I joined the military when I was 18. I've been making adjustments to it as time passes.

I think everyone should have one written.

What about life insurance, have you given that any thought?
Absolutely! I did not mention that. I got good life insurance. Got that when I was eighteen.... I was going to give that sum to my parents and brothers equally.

Thank you :) :headbang2 Must have checked out the albums. Thinking about it I should have had the will drafted after modifying the trans am ws6... 400 or so horse at the wheels.....

It's not morbid, it's responsible. It also keeps your estate from being gobbled up by the state rather than going to someone of your choice.

My husband and I will not have children, but we have pets with special needs, so we needed to find them "god parents" and set aside a chunk of money for their care. I doubt we would have gotten around to making a will as young as we did if not for that.
