Based on those pictures the fish looks to be trimac, and I guess I meant to say it's nice looking fish. I'm no expert but based on the ones I've encountered in the past this seems to be a good looking specimen.

looks like a trimac to me. What is that spotted fish in the last(only its back half though) and its also in the top right picture
Why would you ask if it's a Trimac when it was sold as a FH?
If you don't know what it is and have to ask, you should consider it a FH. With yours, the seller even said it's a FH, so it's a Flowerhorn.

The thing is in Turkey, LFS people are very ignorant and dont hesitate to call a fish whatever they like. With that said, you are right that we cannot possibly know the truth. What struck me about this fish is that it doenst have the "tear markings" of a pure trimac.
........If you buy it as a Flowerhorn its a Flowerhorn. If you buy it as a Trimac it might a Trimac, it might be a flowerhorn. Yours is a low grade ZZ Flowerhorn.
Correct, none of us know. That's when you have to revert back to the rule of thumb. If you don't know and have to ask...consider it a FH. If he's not going to breed it and sell the fry to other hobbyists, I guess it doesn't really matter either way.
Its less likely that a store will get in a batch of pure Trimac and think they are Flowerhorn. You buy it as a Flowerhorn then it is one..........unless the store is selling you other fish they labeled as Flowerhorn.
