It saddens me to share with MFK the news of "VMike"'s health, but upon request of his wife Margaret, Ruck Fules (Gani) and I were asked to inform his friends of his situation as she knows how much the hobby meant to Mike and how much Mike meant to the hobby. She's asking for your prayers on Mike's behalf.
For those of you who don't know Mike (a.k.a VMike or Vista Mike from other forums), he is a long time member MFK and is a icon in the world of Frontosas (forums such as of Cyphos.com) He hasn't been as active on this forum as much lately but he visited when he had some down time here and there, mostly in the CA/SA Cichlid Forum. He might not be a household name on this site but his expertise, passion and loyalty to the hobby is unmeasurable.
Mike is currently in a hospital near his home in San Diego County, CA.... where he has been admitted to the ICU for the last 12 days. Mike is currently unresponsive and the prognosis is not good. Without getting into too much of the specifics, we are asking for your help.... Mike really needs your prayers. We've been blessed with Mike's friendship and I can honestly say that I've never met a better man. He truly is an amazing person... generous, caring and always a pleasure to be around. Thank you for your time and please keep Mike in your prayers.
