seachem matrix vs biomax

Ok I have an extra ac110 sitting around and i want to use it and fill it with bio. Money not being a issues and I want to get it from a lfs and they only carry Hagen biomax and matrix . I want somthing with the most amount of surface area since it will be in a ac110 and I want to completly stuff it with 2 litres of either. Biomax or matrix. Money not being a issue and I only can choose from those two since its the only two my lfs carries
 
Either one is good, although I don't know the stats. Eheim's Ehfisubstrat is good too.
 
I'm pretty sure that the Seachem Matrix has a much higher surface area. I use it and am very happy...
 
My favorite between the two is biomax.

Actually Hagen Bio-max has over 30x the amount of surface area as Seachem Matrix, so I don't know where you get that idea
