Gold Nugget Growth Rate

I was wondering of those who knows, what is the growth rate on a gold nugget pleco. Right now I have one in a 30 gallon growout tank, that wiull soon have 2 EBJD's,. in the mean time he is in there alone. I say he but i am not sure of the sex. it is areound 2-2.5". i feed it zuchinni (spl) algea pellets, and i allow some algae to grow in the tank (slightly). anywas just wondering how long it would take to get bigger?????

thanks for the input. i have heard of them being 6" before. but i havent actually talked to anyone who has grown them out.

As far as the tank, i have no room for a larger one. I have recently moved home from college after graduation and have no place to put a larger tank. I currently have a 30 and a 55g, so for now i have him/her in there until i move out again. if i put it in the 55 it will probably be killed by my other fish.
