my oldest senegal male was looking very weird this morning.
Had lost alot of slimecoat and was lying upside-down + curled up.
When he turned around the gravel was all over him, stuck to the slimecoat and the pectoral fins were cupped forwards...
Pretty messed up, but acts normal at the moment.
It does look like it just got badly scratched from the driftwood, but could it be something else i should worry about?

notice the fins:

Got any anti-biotics around?

only thing i have at the moment is Tetra FungiStop; "highly effective against fish fungus, external bacterial infections and wounds"
active ingredients per 100ml:
silver colloid 0,240g
metanil yellow 0,100g

but i could go out later today and buy something else?

I have a 4x1x1foot tank available as a hospital tank.

What else is he housed with? I mean besides the rope?

Could it be trying to itch itself? Any new fish in the tank?
no new fish, but im started to think that its just scratches from a new piece of driftwood i just put in a few days ago. Its pretty rought and some other fish also have some scratches. Looks like its from when they were trying to force themselves under the driftwood.

If it as red as the picture shows you really need anti-biotics as it appears to be developing hemoragic septicemia-Anne
