went out netting,got minnows?

under a bridge in fl
been a while since i went out netting.
got minnows with the umbrella net. "got a few" LOL
then went to the packed ditches with the shrimp net.
got 3 buckets full. :drool:
the ditches are drying up but theres tons of stuff still!!
december and still catching babies!! :nilly:
i only scooped like 5 times in the ditches "got dark"
everything but the minnows came from the ditch.

I wish I could catch my own feeders and cichlids in ditches..lol That would be cool.
 
I didn't even see the little bitty catfish in there, very cool!!!! What kind of cichlids are those? Looks like they have potential.

the only thing wre gonna catch in ditches in this state is a cold.

ya thats a bullhed cat.smallest ive caught,i think.
cichlids are jewel cichlids,the 2 fish.
im thinking there 2 different kinds of jewels.they look it.
anyone else think there different kinds?
other fish are fl flagfish
Amazing to find such a vast array of fish in a 300-500G ditch

there was more i just didnt net much at that spot.
and im sure it was less then 300g too.its crazy.lol
