Are these some of the ones that Rapps had? I gave some serious thought to getting a wild caught pair before I bought 4 dovii (dovii are not from Rapps).

yup both from rapps, i got mine over 2 years ago, and he now currently charges $50 for simalarly sized lago nic jags (guess he's selling them well)

the female has a injury on her upper lip no doubt do to jaw locking, but overall they get along very well, i bought the fish seperatly and then decided to breed them, so there was a good amount of aggresion before they finally decided to settle down (pun intended), at a few points i had to throw the divider in becase the male was loseing most of these bouts severely (torn fins, loseing scales, etc. but it all worked out in the end and i've gotten at least 6 succesful batches so far. rapps has some gorgeus fish, but when thse guys originally came in through shipment i wasn't too thrilled, there was a bit of torn fins and injurys expected when buying F0 fish that come through shipment, but as you can see everything healed very nicely.
the second batch of pics turned out better than i thought.

male was perfect for shooting just a couple mins ago, pissed off at everything, and had a rock the size of a nano ipod in his mouth, i rushed to my cam and the battery's dead
