Zaliosum, Friedrichsthalii

In my "my new world cichlids" thread I posted a pic of my 'freddy' but was shotdown in flames apparently it's a Jag. Posted a pic looks similar to yours, what do you think?

Gadro, that's a jag....... no doubt about it. Freddies are a very definite olive/yellow color while jags tend to be more silver or bronze.

That is one hundred percent managuense (jaguar). I would say that my friedrichsthalii displays the characteristics of the species well, bright yellow coloration, well defined barring most of the time, and the fins on P. friedrichsthalii are much different from the fins on P. managuense. The reason the fish look similar to you is because they are in the same genus.
