Diamondback Terrapins and new basking area 6/28/08

Just completed their new basking area today and so far they both are lovin it. :headbang2

Very cool! I kind of want a Terrapin, but I hear they're brackish and I already have enought pets in my house. :nilly:

These has always been raised in freshwater. They're fine it in if you start them out in freshwaters.

Most CB diamondbacks are kept in full fresh from birth.

They're very beautiful turtles, very outgoing and are always begging for food, that's how I got the shots of them in waters
