Yes it should be possible

The eggs will turn orange in a couple of weeks, and then you will start to see little eyes and legs, after that you will have to wait until the babies are moving under the adult and then wait for the babies to drop asnd then put them in another tank. Otherwise the parents eat them. Learnt from experience lol

well i can tell ya what i did. i had a crayfish with eggs so i goggled it. ended up putting her in a 10 gallon tank by herself with a hide box. 45 days later 100 babies.

Congrats! Looks like you've just picked up about 200+ free crayfish :). Hopefully they aren't like shrimp who can have eggs without them having to be fertilized. From what I understand about crayfish though, they only develop eggs after being fertilized so you probably picked them up just a few days after the last male got pulled out. Update the thread if and when the eggs hatch :).

Um, I can offer two suggestions.

1. Because crawfish put the eggs under the tail, perhaps they mated twice and ran out of room under tail # 1 so put it on the ohter.

2. IDK if this is for cray's but some inverts have both male and female reproductive organs

Humm thats what i was woundering. Because the first one when i bought it, already had a full tail of eggs and then like 9 days later all of a sudden the second one has eggs yet the guy at the store said the other one was a male. And he seemed like he really knew what he was talking about. I guess ill just try researching more and finding out if either one of those suggestions could be.
