this is nothing compared to some of the tanks i havent found pix of "or seen"

one tank he said was so big he put on a wet suit to clean it :eek:
hope i can find a pic but he said he didnt take much pix :irked:

he also had a beautiful 240g planted discus tank :drool:
havent found pix of that tank tho :irked:

i will post a few pix at a time up to pix of the 14 footer :naughty:

post all comments or guesses on fish or spot other fish :D

Eheims were around at the same time as Supreme HOB filters!

my gramps went out diving and got alot of his fish and corals and live rock
very big diver :)

True, they were the first canister filters introduced to the public around then. Took awhile for aquarists to get hip to the eheims. Too weird looking compared to hob and corner box filters. Kind of a scary concept having water hoses going to the tank lol.

Very good actually. People liked them because they were quiet. I think that the motors were made by the Singer sewing machine co. Had to keep them oiled.
