Hello all.
I need some help here. I just got a hold of a wet/dry for 70 bucks. The only issue is it has a couple cracks in it. I was wondering what would be the best way to repair those cracks. Its made out of clear plastic or acrilic...can't tell which.
Any help would be appreciated as allways

can you get a pic of the cracks? Sometimes all you have to do is go to the hardware store and get a small piece of acrylic to "patch" it.

I am having the wet/dry delivered so I don't have it here yet. But the posted pics I saw were 2 very small cracks and 1 half the length of the box

Just overlay and glue another piece of plastic over the crack(s).

Clean with alcohol and use solvent glue and clamp acrylic together, shouldn't need patch or brace.

Yep, those aren't stress cracks, somebody hit, solvent and clamps should do it.

Also, before you repair it, drill a small hole at the ends of the cracks. This will keep them from spreading any further.;)

Normally that would be a good tip, but hes trying to stop it from leaking ..ya, ya I know, a dab of silicone or goop. It just hit me as funny :D.

It's not stressed so it shouldn't creep.
