I don't have any production pictures, but it should you show the general idea on how to assemble a very sturdy stand. It's pretty simple to build, because it kind of squares itself.

I got the idea off of another member on here. It's also the same design as my 120 and 220.

Thats a good looking stand. How does it square itself?

That's awesome work man. That's an impressive tank stand. I wish I could build stuff. I tried to build a sandwich and failed.

LMFAO sigged. Nice stand, how big is the tank thats on it? I want to build a stand for my 125 and trying to see whats the easiest and cheapest way to go.

It's a 180. I think the overall cost on this stand was around $70 which includes, 2x4's, 1/8" pine 4'x8' sheet, misc. trim, and 3/4" pine for the doors

Hey, I can't do that either. That's why I make my wife do it. lol

By squeezing those horizontal 2'x4's in between the vertical ones, it seems to level everything out. You just have to make sure that you cut all of the pieces exactly the same. I never worried about putting any styro. on it, since it seemed to be nice and square.

Thats great, I did one but everything is in the rough, maybe my next one will be done nicely like yours

Who ever said pine (rough lumber) doesnt look good all you need is a dark stain! Again, lookin good

Over-engineered? Where?? Don't have a clue what you're talking about!! That stand looks awsome, bro. I love a good looking lump of solidly built furniture!

A question, though...

...isn't styrofoam supposed to provide some cushion for the glass under the weight of all that water?

Great work, anyway! :clap
