Not posted any of my fish for a while but have been trying to get this on film for ages.
Fatty(as he's lovable known by) always freaks out when the lights go on, this is actually a pretty quiet 'lights on' but of course when I decided to film it nothing much happened. I seen about an eighth of a tank go over on his worse ever freak out. Our on idea to this behavior is the giant gourami sitting in another larger tank opposite and that fish always comes right into his line of sight for feeding(when that tanks lights come on) a couple of minutes before.
However he also does this with neighbors when they sit at the end of the tank although not as much.
Please forgive the tacky decor it's in there to entertain the fish, nothing more. His hobbies are :
Trying to bury the arch, knocking it over and then picking up gravel and putting over the top(bi-weekly 50% water changes where we reset everything
).
Moving the barrel(I've seen him pick it up in his mouth and swim it over to the other end before now).
Trying to eat the second backup heater is also fun.
And of course the all time no1 eating.
He can't be far off fully grown now, tank is a 65usg with enough internal an external filtration to run a tank 3 times the size. As daft as it sounds the new tank was supposed to house the GG and fatty but I'm guessing there are set to never get on

Please comment good or bad and also any other insights in to this behavior, by the way there was no one else in the room when this was shot?
