As the title says, we're all heard the stories, but I'm yet to see any photographic evidence of a clown loach that is over 12". This pic of Marge is about the only pic of a monster clown I've ever seen with a ruler or something showing scale. I have seen a pic of a large loach being held across two hands, but its hard to tell just how big it really is.
Even a shot of a solid 12"er would be nice....

They look big, but without something to show scale its really hard to tell. I could probably take a pic (if she'd sit still!!) of my biggest 7.5" female and pass her off as 10"+.
I'm certainly not saying you're lying or doubting the size of them, but I'm really after pics that can confirm measurements....

devder1 I've seen a pic of marge on a 30cm ruler, she's big alright, but that second one looks pretty similar to several of my 6-8" ones. You just can't tell the size from a pic like that. I'm really only after pics with measuring tapes or other objects that give a fair indication of scale.

Although I think you'd really be stretching that tail fin to get it to 12", she sure is a whopper though!

So what about over 12"?? Some fool on a local forum tried claiming that they can grow up to 2-3', and that there are pics "everywhere" of ones around 16". Obviously the 2-3' thing is a load of rubbish, but I have heard other claims of clowns over 12". I have never seen a pic of anything even slightly over 12", let alone close to 16" so thats what I'm looking for.....

Tell u what, next time i take them out i will measure them and take a pic to post! i would like to see a 16" one let alone 2-3'!!!

Wow , it's a biggest clown loach I've seen. How long does it take to get this size ? Bump for a true monster fish
