Trying to compile a list of the best LFS in the Tri-state area. I'm in Hamilton, NJ, 08610. Anyone have a LFS in the area that you'd be distraught if they closed up shop?

I've found The Hidden Reef in Levitown, PA. Seems like a nice place, I've only been in their a couple of times and just found them last week. Their prices are comparable to other LFS, but I was irked when I realized they don't do many promotional sales. IE: Another LFS near me, Pets Plus in Langhorn, PA does a Fish sale 1 a month, Has a rewards program, and discount coupons they mail out. They Price match and everything. But they don't have nearly the selection of The Hidden Reef.

Also theirs Allquatics in Hamilton, NJ I like them a lot for quick purchases. They've matched internet sale prices I've found as long as the item I want is In stock. They won't match special orders but I can respect that. They've helped me out with Warranty Replacements on things they didn't even sell me on 3 occasions. So they're in my top 3 LFS.

I'm looking for the best of the best in LFS for my area.

So where's your favorite LFS East Coasters?

Mike

Monster Fish? You got an address on that one, I can't find it through Google.

Thanks for the replies.

Monster Pets is the name of the store. They have two locations in Philly but I think the one in South Philly has the better selection. Both of the stores are really big, about the size of PetSmart but they are privately owned....There are a few PetsPlus locations in the city area(I used to work at one of the old locations years ago)but they all have gone down as far as their selection of fish. They seem to be trying to go the Petco route...One other store worth mentioning is Worldwide Aquarium and Pets which is just outside of the city in Upper Darby Pa.This store is like an African Cichlid keepers toystore.

I noticed that a lot, The one in Lawrenceville, NJ is similar. I'll informed employees, Garbage selection.

Only Pets Plus I visit anymore is at
Fairless Hills

Fairless Hills P.A. 19030

Shark and aquascape my favorites Freds is good just a small store.

There used to be an awesome place on route 35 near Monmouth county mall called Tropaquarium. Can anyone confirm if it is still there?
