Tropical Gar?

Hi.
My online LFS has a sale going on right now, and this Gar they are selling caught my eye.

It is being sold as a "Tropical Gar". And is going for ¥9000 (about $90us)

Could anyone confirm it for me? The pictured fish is the one for sale.

I agree, looks like a small Tropical Gar. :)
 
imo there's a good chance of it being a trop (darn that there were none when i was in Japan 2-3 years back).

if you can, get some dorsal shots of the fish. that will help confirm the ID

That's the only shot I can get of it before the deadline to buy it 2morro morning.

This place are pretty good, and never sent me a fish that was labeled wrong (even a few Bichir sp. came delivered to me labeled correct), BUT I never bought Gars from them before.

But then at 9000¥, I guess I wouldn't loose out on much.
