For those of you worried about killing fish or harming the environment please see your states regulations which have already taken this into consideration.

I will be in Virginia beach come this winter and will be looking to bowfish the ocean for the first time. Anyone know about the sport in this area?

I'v been told dynamite works well.
I have been using a bow since I was a little kid, but AMS sells complete kits for starters, to include a 'how to ' video, the whole thing with the bow is like 200$ or so. not a bad deal
its much more exciting than it looks.
