Hi!
My LFS has some Polypterus Endlicheri Congicus but they look very much the same as P. Senegalus to me. How do I differ them from each other? thx for any help. They are about 10cm

It probably is a senegal bichir. Some lfs name senegals "congo bichir". Here is a link to some pics of a P. congicus: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54881&page=5&highlight=polypterus+congicus
One of the biggest differences is that in a "true" congicus bichir has a protruding lower lip versus the protruding upper lip of the senegal bichir. Hope this helps.:D
Oh, I see. Well let's hope it wasn't a "congo bichir" but a real congicus, I want them biiig :D
