well this is the start of it..
the inside of the tank itself will messure. 93x30x39 i plan on keeping the water level at 36" i hope to have all the plywood on by tomarrow.
the bar is what was there first. so i tore that out last week and got this far today.
first, thanks for the kind words.. and i do have a question, my plan is to screw the plywood to the inside of the studs from what will be the inside of the tank then use bondo to cover these up before sealing... anyone forsee a problem with that?
My only concern for you right now is that stand. It is nicely done, but I am not sure it is enough. A tank that size needs a lot of support. I would like to see some 4x4s or sandwiched 2x4s underneath there.
progress so far this morning, i have got to go get some plywood now.. the inner 2x4 box is recessed 3/4 of inch so the plywood will mount flush, and sheet rock will cover all this. the only framing i have left is stud up a small knee wall above the front this will act as a vent, i will install 3 or 4 small fans to pull cool air from my kitchen through the top and out the top..
does that make scense?
