My 12" Yarrelli, acts like a Wobbegong Shark! I bought it about a month ago and it has really come around. Takes large feeder golfish, shrimp, nightcrawlers, etc... I;ve heard that they can reach 6' in the wild, let's see how large mine will get.

cool catfish!! Do you have tankmates? I heard they are quite aggressive...I always want one but never had the chance to own one yet..Keep us updated

froggyman, the substrate is a combination of a sand and Mexican Black Pearl gravel.
aimhigher, he has no tankmates. I do plan to add a Bluegill or two later this summer. We'll see how that goes.
