Couple pics of my new addition, He's around 12". Rio Meta is the river system he was from. i noticed when shooting him that with these large pbass unlike the smaller ones i've shot before (juvi kelberi) that the true colors are washed out to a goldish tint when shot with flash. as we know the True colors of Orinoco Pbass is a truly stunning Green/Blue Sheen that covers it's body, i included a shot of the golden sheen and the Green blue when shot with flash for it's true potential. Thank you Mr. Rapps again for a stunning fish and a record time delivery to my home (under 24 hours for when i purchased him (18 roughly).

very nice, i was wondering who was gonna pick this guy up :) from what ive seen and with the rio metas i have, i think these so-called rio metas will be a more goldish color, rather than the usual green. the ones IA brought in look theyre gonna be the green ones. at 12" this guy would have bright green by now. just variation between the species :)

I've seen other pics of this guy and he is GREEN! My Rio Metas (SHark Aq) turned out very green as well. I would go so far as to say that color variations vary between individual fish. Any thoughts?

make no mistake this guy is super green, the way the flash was shot was responsible for the golder 1st shot, i can post up later shots and oh yeah, He's green.
