Dwarf frog with red on face

Observing my dwarf frogs today and noticed one of them had a lot of red around the face:

It looks a lot like ammonia burns, but these guys don’t have gills to get burned (I didn’t test but there really shouldn’t be ammonia in the tank, especially with the shrimp showing no effects). Last time I had params issues with a frog it was frantically trying to escape the water - this guy is acting totally normal. Maybe it got injured by something? The other two frogs look fine.

Really late response, but I've really only seen redness on aquatic frogs when ammonia and/or nitrite levels are high, or when they're inflicted with a bacterial infection of sorts. I hope your frog is doing better.

The frog did die - it appeared to have had red leg disease.
I did a water change after it died (shoulda done it first).
