Filter that you would recommend?

Please recommend me a filter, my xp4 is leaking after less than a year of use. Looks like housing is coming apart at the seam. I have xp4 and xp3 and i think i want to go a different route now. Looking to see youre suggestions.

I'm not familiar with that unit,it sounds like it's pretty crappy but what size tank do you have and what stock are you keeping?

Fluval FX5/6 or any classic Eheim. The rest suck.

I like aquaclear and sponges but I agree tank size ad stock would make recommendations more accurate.

Tank is standard 125, stock chocolate cichlid, two severums, bushfish, four polys and tiger barbs.

I have a xp4 that does the same thing. Can you show me a picture I might be able to help you out to get it to stop leaking

Eheim 2262 and an Aquaclear 110 would be my choice.

For canisters, Marineland C360 or a pair of Eheim classic 2217s. I even like Sunsun. I've had my Sunsun 302 going for 3yrs, no problems. For HOBs, I'd use nothing but AC. A pair of AC110s and a canister would be great on your 125g.
