Hello, My name is Valerie. A friend of mine(molino) recommended i check out this site. I am jsut startign to get into photography and finally bought my own digital camera this summer. I hope to learn a lot and share some of my photos.

Welcome Valerie, There are a lot of good photographers on this site so they should have some good tips/ideas for you. Its also nice just to view a lot of their great photos.

If you do want some tips on your photos post them in "Photography 101" or "Before and After" for tips on taking the pictures or manipulating them afterwards.

Thanks guys, I have been looking around and reading posts and this place looks very cool. I hope to learn more about how to "clean" up images using the variuos photo programs. Because right now all i knowhow to do it take the pic and resize them.
