Hi i'm troy i just started on june 2,2005. I have an hong kong eel i just bought it on monday and i cant get it to eat if you have any info please let me no!

I had the same problem. I bought a Amazon eel at a LFS, it was a spiney eel (Fish) from asia. Mostlikley its in the same family. Mine gave me problems until I started him a Bloodworms. Put them in a small dish with some gravel in it and slowly lower it next to the eel turn down the lights and he will eat. Give him some time mine will now eat from a worm feeder that is attached to the tank just below the water line. Send some pic believe me some here can help identify him for you.
