Hey Everyone, just had a question regarding one of my bichirs. All of my water parameters are in check and temperature of the tank is at 79 degrees. I have 6 sub adult angelfish and a sub adult severum with my 4 bichirs. The bichirs are all around 7 inches, I notice this mark on my Senegal. I’m trying to figure out what it could be only thing that comes to mind is either another bichir bit him or possibly he got wedged in between some driftwood. The heater I have has a guard on it, so I doubt a heater burn. Everyone is eating fine and acting normal. I normally do a water change every few days to siphon out any poop or uneaten food, but I will up the water changes until this clears.

Probably just wedged into the driftwood. Clean water and food should do it.
