Hey everyone, my senegal died a couple weeks ago, so I did a little dirty work and here's his skull. Its pretty small as he was only 7" long. I was gonna attach the gular plates to the ventral side of the dentary, but I decided to keep it separate.

i would love to be able to do this to a 24" polypterus. i wanted to get a full good cleaning and disarticulate the whole head, but mine was so small it would be a lot of extra work and frustration. i cleaned it the best i could by hand, then dried whatever was left by burying it in baking soda for a few days.

This is something I would pay money for lol Maybe to have a HUGE congicus head on a wooden platform in a glass box with special lighting. Anyways Very nice job I don't know how I would had the time or patients to do that I would've probably accidentally smashed it on step one.
