hey guys. I just wanted some opinions and feedback. I have. 125 gallon tank. I have 2 blood parrots a jack Dempsey and 2 peacock bass. Most my fish being around 5-7 inches. I'm planning on eventually getting a silver arowana. What catfish could I add to the tank that won't get eaten or out grow the tank within 2 years? I have a sand bottom and little decor. A couple pots and 2 pieces of driftwood, 1 large 1 small. I would appreciate any photos to accompany any recommendations. Thanks guys!

Tandanus tandanus or a black tandanus or salmon cats! Yes I'm truly bias toward Australian natives
Thanks! Those are pretty cool but I was looking to get a more colorful or something that stands out that is also a bottom feeder to help keep excess food on the substrate. I like color but I like size too. That's why I really wanted a shovel nose catfish but they get way too big way too fast. I down for a cool looking pleco or a catfish.

Are you planning on upgrading for the Aro and Pbass? I only ask but ultimately your tank will be too small for either the Aro or Pbass and if you are upgrading that would effect the catfish I might suggest.

Also larger catfish don't usually make for a good clean up crew as many cats tend to be predators. A better clean up crew might be firemouths or geos who constantly sift sand. One of the few cats that might be a good clean up crew is the dwarf giraffe catfish who max out around 8 inches.

If how ever you just want a nice looking cat that would be fairly active and be okay in your 125 a Bolt Cat/ Aguarunichthys torosus who max out around 14 inches might be a good choice

Another good choice might be Ornate Pimelodus the Ornate Pim which max out around 11 inches.

Thanks that helps alot. And yea once the arowana outgrows the tank over next year 2 or 3 years I was planning on moving up to 250 or bigger depending in my personal situation at the time.
