Since day one of my fish keeping, eraly 1980's, I have always seen the "small-community-fish" setups at my dentist' office..I easily got bored of this setup and thought it was wimpy..............LAter I got into cichlids..Oscars and Red Devils..............When a person jumps into the South American and Central American cichlids, you throw away all feeling to the small community fish.........Actually, the small community fish really are obsolete now, unless you want them to be target fish and/or feeders...............P.S.[/B] Has anyone had this dilemma before? The community tank of schooling fish is nice but it's like I have no connection to the fish individually. I just feel like if I get one or two big ones, that would help me get "closer" to my fish. I know there's a lot of questions, but I would like to hear your opinions
