I think time will cure shyness in your pikes. By nature pikes are ambush predators and all young fish seem genetically programmed to hide. My pair of lents and cinctas both used to hide all the time, but NOW they practically jump out the tank and follow me around for food. Even my Atabapo IIs who seemd very skittish and hid all the time together are now patrolling, defending and attacking as a team. Personally, I handpick my driftwood to have potential PIKE hiding places in them....
