Jaguar cichlid tank size?

If it was longeer then a standard 75g it wouldn't be very tall. You're suggesting putting a big cichlid in a tank that it can't go verticle in?

My female has happily been in her 55 for over 2 years now, she's about 8 inches. I have seen some giant males, look up aquamojo on youtube, his old managuense Jumbo, but I don't think all males get that big. I would say 75 for male, 55 for female. However this is definitely alone because my female kills anything I try to put with her, even if its bigger besides a pleco I had from the start.
 
I keep my pair in a 180G alone, I think they could use a 150G but its a spare tank so why not, it seems better for them also if they get in a fight I can add the divider and the female still gets a decent space to be in. females about 10 inch males 12-14 ruffly so hopefully a bit more to go :D
 
^^^ Yea, 125 would be a good size for a pair
 
I actually think you can get away with possibly a male in a 75 as I've seen them in 75s all over the internet! But that's not reccomended I would just go with a 90 for a male or female depending on what you have. Females can be in a 75 though
