Try blood worms. If they don't eat bloodworms Ben there might be a problem. Check water quality

The funny thing is, when i first got my delhezi, it was crazy on food. ate until it's fat on the first day. Not anymore. My weeksi and retro NEVER seemed interestd in eat since I assume they were wild caught. My now deceased albino sen was crazy for food before it was brutally murdered my my trio of bichirs a month ago. My albino was eating away while my other 3 bichirs were dozing off in the corner.

Starve your bichirs a few days then try feeding tilapia in really small chunks. You need to get them to accept the food before you can beef them up like a kibasa. Once they start eating tilapia on a regular basis then you can increase your feeding volume and frequency. I hope this helps.

thanks guys. Boy these bichirs are damn stubborn.

i divided up my tank from my bass and angelfish to experiment if my bichirs even ate anything. Usually, my bass eat all the food. i turned off the lights and fed them small chunks of talapia.
Around half of the talapia was left over.

Guess i'll starve them then

It's best for you to leave your tank along aside from water changes. This way your Bichir can adjust
