So I emailed the Riparium Supply website you gave me and have been chatting with a Devin. He said he happened to have a red mangrove that had three shooty-things on it and if I got the 3-pack and some gravel, he'd throw them in complimentary. Cool Dude. They're growing is slight brackish and I gotta acclimate them to full salt and I'm a bit intimidated about that... He said it would take 6 weeks or more! Oh and he also said that it was more important for mangrove roots to be left alone than root-bound and he's gotten mangroves quite large in the little cuppys. I guess we'll see what happens!

Anyway, I'm gonna place the order later today. So thanks a ton for pointing me over there!
 
Awesome! Dev's a super cool dude, he's always helped me out. I can't wait for your own Monster Mangrove thread... I just realized its already been over a year for mine, whoa! lol
 
The P.Lily flower is putting up some pretty noticable daily growth:

Sweet....I wonder if you can't put like a rock in the roots or something like they sometimes do with legit bonsai trees. I'll hunt up a pic to show you what I'm talking about. But it would look cool to see a mangrove growing around a rock, don't you think? I don't know if you could do it though. I've been freaked out about touching roots since Devin implied that I could kill it that way! :nilly: lol

I placed my order last night! I'm so stoked! In 2-3 days, I'll be a mangrove mommy! lol!
