So, this thread is a continued inspiration for me and how I can maximize the VERY limited real estate under my 55g hex tank. The works of plumbing and automation and DIY are what keep me going working long nights. A few more trips to ACE and I'll be ready to start second guessing myself once the glue sets in.

This setup is amazing. Very clean, very simple, very accessible and presumably easy to maintain. I'm most curious about the filter cartridges on the left and the glass bottles in the middle. Is this an automatic water change system with auto-dosing? I've seen setups on hackaday.com that do that and the required equipment is getting easier and cheaper to source...

Does anyone know what I'm looking at here?
