What the differences between Scomb and Armatus ?

I wa thinking that the Tat have more red on the tail.

If someone have other species of characins to add ... i'm ready ^^

I'm not happy with my raphiodon vulpinus and my Macrochirichthys Machrochirus, if someone have better pics for the poster, please send them to me, i 'll add them to the poster

Armatus gets much bigger than a scomb and has a very different build to its body. Scombs also dont get over a foot long.

Tats are actually the species most easily confused with an armatus. They are built nearly identical, but they don't grow to be as large and they have arguably nicer colors.

I could get you plenty of rhaph pics off of Google, but as they're not mine it wouldn't really be ethical to give them to you. :/

There's lots of people on here who have had them, ask around!

There's plenty of pics of armies caught in fishing with red tails. The kicker for that 'tat' is the white line on its tail and anal fin, only armatus has that.
In my computer I don't see a white line at the tail and anal fin. oh well. i'm getting a new computer anyways. lol It looked like a tat because of the bluish sheen that large tats sometimes have and the obvious red tail.
