My user name is a type of nickname ... that started when I was dropping my son of at school for kindergarden. All these Mom's (rarely did I see another Dad) would be crabbing about their husbands, and I would stand off to the side laughing. Finally one mom asked what was so humorous, so I explained that most of the things they were crabbing about ... I have the same complaint for my wife (she works evening/night shift). So the mom's started calling me Mr. Mom .... as I spend more time with my 2 sons care than my wife. In fact, here's a laugh for some of you ... when we had to do pre-natal classes before our 1st son was born, I attended more classes alone (my wife was working) than she actually went to ... I tell you that first class was pretty awkward, thankfully she showed up for the last 10 minutes of it ... ahh memories ...
So I wanted to use a nickname and it was either Mr. Mom (which is almost always available I find) ... or Oldman (because I'm arthritic from my sternum to my knees) which is always used it seems .... or Farmboy (because you can take the kid from the farm, but you can't take the farm out of the kid) which is always used as well it seems
