Very nice build! Good to see the use of a rubberized coating. I was considering using liquid rubber.
You have to understand that if you didn't go with rubber and went with epoxy you would probably have a leak by now. Flex and epoxy don't work. If I go epoxy rather, I will do the stacked method as its 100 percent non flexing. When I priced the frame as a normal partition outer wall vs stacked it was 30 dollars of a difference for a 6x4x2.5 tank. Not very wasteful at all for wayyyyy more durability and longevity!!!

Great thread and build. How about an update with pics of the monsters....
Here's a couple of shots from the webcam.
The armies are getting big. The biggest one is hitting 18". As you can see they're running out of room. So when it gets warmer I'm going to start selling them. Don't have the time to maintain it anymore.
btw, the tank is doing fine. No leaks or issues. Just having the algae problem as always. I do 50% water changes each week and still won't go away. The parameters are all very good.
There is a few brands. Here in Canada I use Septobac. This type of stuff clears algae over taken in ponds. Search RD threads. He knows much more then I do
Wow really great tank build. love the design and the overall finished look. I may go diy. I cannot find a tank wide enough up here.
Turn ur lites off for a few days and /or add some blue lighting, actinic, leds are great for that, very bright and u can use a small amount and get good visibility too, so u can still see the fish and cut the algae down.
