Hey guys,

1" Bulkhead = what size hole saw?

Going to be attaching some plumbing to my 240-gallon acrylic tank this weekend. My bulkheads are 1" from Jehmco (BF1KTTL: http://jehmco.com/html/bulkhead_fittings.html). I misplaced the note on what size hole saw I need to drill into the tank.

Anyone know what size hole saw I should pickup from the hardware store?

Thanks,
Russ

1-1/8 to 1-1/4 should work fine, IMHO.

In my rush for an answer, I posted this same question on a couple sites. Here are the answers I got back:
  1. 1-1/8" to 1-1/4"
  2. 1-3/4"
I'm not sure now :)

Never did this before, I guess I can bring the bulkhead into the hardware store and see which size has the tightest fit???

Thanks!
Russ
